Summary:TheGlobal Combat Sustainment Systems (GCSS) Army Operator Maintenance/Tools & Parts Attendant will receive, store, and issue hand tools, machine tools, dies, and equipment, such as measuring devices.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Receive, store and issue hand tools, machine tools, dies, and equipment, such as measuring devices.

· Keeps records of tools issued to and returned by workers.

· Prepares periodic inventory or keep perpetual inventory and requisition stock as needed.

· Maintains Bench Stock and Shop Stock in accordance with current directives.

· Unpacks and stores new equipment.

· Visually inspects tools or measures with micrometer for wear or defects and reports damaged or worn-out equipment to superiors.

· Places stock in appropriate temporary or permanent storage locations, processes related documentation into the web-based supply system, Global Combat Support System – Army (GCSS-A), according to specific oral or written work instructions.

· Uses a tablet or laptop to process receipts, issues and turn-ins into GCSS-A, and print associated documentation.

· Performs customer support functions—those processes used to support the total requirement of customers to gain logistics support in both combat and peacetime situations.

· May be required to work an uncommon tour of duty including nights, week-ends, and holidays.

Minimum Qualifications:(To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.)

· High School graduate or equivalent

· Minimum of one (1) year in general vehicle maintenance or parts counter worker.

· Must possess and maintain a current Oklahoma Driver’s License.

· Must be able to pass a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) for computer access.

· Training and experience in supply/storage operations is desirable, computer usage skills is desirable, prior experience with GCSS-Army is also desirable.

· Computer experience with MS Excel, MS Word and MS Email experience desired.

Work Environment:

· The employee will work in areas where dirt, dust and grease are present. May be exposed to chemicals that could irritate and burn the skin if appropriate protective clothing and equipment are not worn. Some chance of cuts and bruises if appropriate safety methods and procedures are not followed and used. May be required to wear a respirator. May be called upon to work an uncommon tour of duty including nights, holidays and/or weekends. Expected to comply with OSHA, EPA, and State requirements, appropriate fire regulations, and published company work rules.
